Artist Bio:
Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in 2001. The band consisted of former Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell and three former members of Rage Against the Machine ΓÇô guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk. Audioslave released three studio albums: their self-titled debut in 2002, "Out of Exile" in 2005, and "Revelations" in 2006. The band's music was characterized by a blend of hard rock, alternative rock, and heavy metal elements.

Despite achieving commercial success and critical acclaim, Audioslave disbanded in 2007 due to creative differences among its members. Chris Cornell continued with his solo career and involvement in Soundgarden, while the former Rage Against the Machine members reunited with their original band. Audioslave's music continues to be remembered for its powerful vocals, intricate guitar work, and politically charged lyrics.
