Artist Bio:
Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in 2001. The band consisted of Chris Cornell from Soundgarden on vocals, and the instrumentalists from Rage Against the Machine - Tom Morello on guitar, Tim Commerford on bass, and Brad Wilk on drums. Audioslave released three studio albums between 2002 and 2006, including their self-titled debut album which was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The band's music blended elements of hard rock, alternative rock, and metal, with Chris Cornell's powerful vocals and Tom Morello's distinctive guitar style contributing to their unique sound. Audioslave was known for hits such as "Cochise," "Like a Stone," and "Be Yourself." Despite their commercial success and critical acclaim, the band disbanded in 2007 due to creative differences among the members.
