Artist Bio:
Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in 2001, consisting of members from two well-known bands - Soundgarden's lead vocalist Chris Cornell and Rage Against the Machine's instrumentalists Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk. The band released three studio albums between 2002 and 2006, with their self-titled debut album reaching triple platinum status in the United States. Their sound blended elements of hard rock, alternative rock, and metal, with politically charged lyrics and powerful vocal performances from Cornell.

Despite their commercial success and critical acclaim, Audioslave disbanded in 2007 due to creative differences among members. The band briefly reunited for a one-off performance in 2017. Audioslave's music continues to be celebrated by fans of both Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine, showcasing the unique chemistry between the members of the supergroup.
