Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in 2001. The band consisted of former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell on vocals, and the instrumentalists from Rage Against the Machine - Tom Morello on guitar, Tim Commerford on bass, and Brad Wilk on drums. Audioslave released three studio albums during their career: "Audioslave" in 2002, "Out of Exile" in 2005, and "Revelations" in 2006.
The band's sound blended elements of alternative rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, with Cornell's powerful vocals and the band's dynamic instrumentals creating a unique and impactful sound.
