Augie Rios was an American singer born on January 9, 1939, in New York City. He is best known for his hit song "Donde Esta Santa Claus?" released in 1958 when he was just a teenager. The song, a Christmas novelty tune sung in both English and Spanish, became a holiday classic and one of his most popular recordings.
Despite the success of "Donde Esta Santa Claus?" Rios did not achieve significant commercial success with any of his other recordings. He continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s but eventually faded from the music scene. Augie Rios's legacy primarily rests on his one hit song that continues to be played on the radio and enjoyed by audiences during the holiday season.
