Artist Bio:
B. Bumble & The Stingers was an instrumental band formed in 1961 in California. The group was best known for their hit single "Bumble Boogie," which was a rock and roll adaptation of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblebee." The song reached number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1961.

The band was led by session musician and producer Kim Fowley, who recruited a group of studio musicians to record under the name B. Bumble & The Stingers. Despite their limited success, the band continued to release music throughout the 1960s, including other singles like "Nut Rocker" and "Boogie Woogie." B. Bumble & The Stingers were known for their energetic and lively instrumental music that combined elements of rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and boogie-woogie.
