Babyface, whose real name is Kenneth Brian Edmonds, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on April 10, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Babyface gained prominence in the music industry in the late 1980s and 1990s, known for his smooth vocals and R&B ballads. He has won numerous awards, including 11 Grammy Awards, and has produced and written hit songs for artists such as Whitney Houston, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton.
In addition to his successful music career, Babyface has also worked as a record executive, serving as the co-founder of LaFace Records with L.A. Reid.
