Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO) is a Canadian rock band formed in 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The original lineup consisted of Randy Bachman, Fred Turner, Tim Bachman, and Robbie Bachman. The band achieved commercial success in the 1970s with their blend of hard rock and boogie music. Their most well-known songs include "Takin' Care of Business" and "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet," which both reached the top of the charts in the United States.
BTO released several albums throughout the 1970s, with their self-titled debut album being their most successful. The band went through various lineup changes over the years, with Randy Bachman leaving in 1977. Despite these changes, BTO continued to release music and tour throughout the 1980s and beyond, solidifying their place in rock music history.
