Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO) is a Canadian rock band formed in 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band's core members were Randy Bachman on guitar and vocals, his brother Robbie Bachman on drums, Blair Thornton on guitar, and Fred Turner on bass and vocals. BTO is known for their classic rock hits such as "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet," "Takin' Care of Business," and "Let It Ride."
Bachman-Turner Overdrive achieved great commercial success in the 1970s, selling over 7 million albums in the United States alone. They were known for their energetic live performances and a sound that blended elements of rock, blues, and boogie. Despite several lineup changes over the years, BTO continued to tour and record music until the early 2000s.
