The band was founded by former Free band members Paul Rodgers (vocals) and Simon Kirke (drums), along with Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs and King Crimson bassist Boz Burrell. The album featured hits like "Can't Get Enough" and "Bad Company," establishing the band as one of the leading acts of the 1970s rock scene.
