Artist Bio:
Bad English was a rock band formed in 1987 by members of several other bands, including Journey and The Babys. The band's lineup consisted of lead vocalist John Waite, guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Jonathan Cain, bassist Ricky Phillips, and drummer Deen Castronovo. They released their self-titled debut album in 1989, which featured the hit singles "When I See You Smile" and "Price of Love." The album was a commercial success, reaching platinum status in the United States.
Despite the initial success of their debut album, Bad English disbanded in 1991 after releasing their second album, "Backlash." The band members went on to pursue other musical projects, with some reuniting with their previous bands. Bad English's music is often classified as melodic rock or AOR (album-oriented rock), and they are remembered for their catchy hooks and powerful vocals.
