Bad English was an American rock band formed in 1987. The band was comprised of members John Waite (vocals), Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ricky Phillips (bass), and Deen Castronovo (drums). They released their self-titled debut album in 1989, which featured the hit singles "When I See You Smile" and "Price of Love." The album achieved commercial success, reaching platinum status in the United States.
Despite their initial success, Bad English disbanded in 1991. The members went on to pursue other musical endeavors, with some reuniting in different configurations in later years. Bad English's music is characterized by its blend of hard rock and power ballads, showcasing the talent of its members as accomplished musicians in the rock genre.
