Artist Bio:
Badfinger was a British rock band formed in Swansea, Wales in 1969. The band's original line-up consisted of Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Mike Gibbins, and Joey Molland. They were signed to The Beatles' Apple Records label in 1968, and Paul McCartney reportedly helped the band secure their recording contract.

Badfinger achieved commercial success in the early 1970s with hits such as "Come and Get It" and "No Matter What." They are best known for their song "Without You," which became a major international hit for Harry Nilsson in 1971 and Mariah Carey in 1994. Tragically, the band faced financial and legal issues, leading to the suicides of founding members Pete Ham in 1975 and Tom Evans in 1983. Despite the challenges they faced, Badfinger's music continues to be influential and they are remembered as one of the pioneering bands of the power pop genre.
