Baltimora was an Italian music project active in the 1980s, primarily known for their hit single "Tarzan Boy." The project was fronted by Italian singer and musician Jimmy McShane, who adopted the stage name Baltimora. The song "Tarzan Boy" was released in 1985 and became a worldwide hit, reaching the top of the charts in several countries.
Despite the success of "Tarzan Boy," Baltimora was unable to replicate the same level of success with subsequent releases. The project disbanded in the late 1980s, and McShane passed away in 1995 due to complications from AIDS. Baltimora's music continues to be remembered for its catchy melodies and upbeat dance-pop sound, with "Tarzan Boy" remaining a popular choice for 80s music playlists and retro dance parties.
