Bananarama is a British female pop music group formed in London in 1981. The trio originally consisted of Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey, and Keren Woodward. Bananarama is known for hits such as "Cruel Summer," "Venus," and "I Heard a Rumour," which have become classics in the pop music genre.
Over the years, Bananarama has enjoyed continued success, releasing numerous albums and singles that have topped the charts in various countries. The group has also undergone lineup changes, with Siobhan Fahey leaving in 1988 and Jacquie O'Sullivan joining before departing in 1991.
