Bardeux was an American pop music duo formed in the late 1980s, consisting of Stacy "Acacia" Smith and Tairrie B. Their music style blended elements of freestyle, dance-pop, and hip-hop. They released their debut album, "Shangri-La," in 1988, which spawned the hit single "Magic Carpet Ride." The song reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In 1990, Bardeux released their second album, "Bold as Love," which featured the popular singles "Bleeding Heart" and "Hold Me, Hold Me." The duo's music was characterized by catchy melodies, upbeat rhythms, and soulful vocals. Bardeux's music career was relatively short-lived, but they left a mark on the pop music scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s with their infectious tunes and energetic performances.
