Artist Bio:
The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop band formed in Edinburgh in 1966. They achieved international success in the 1970s with their upbeat pop music and distinctive tartan outfits. The band's lineup consisted of Les McKeown, Eric Faulkner, Stuart Wood, Alan Longmuir, and Derek Longmuir.
The Bay City Rollers are best known for their hit singles, including "Saturday Night," "Shang-a-Lang," and "Bye Bye Baby." They were teen idols and had a dedicated fan base known as the "Roller-maniacs." The band's popularity waned in the late 1970s, and they officially disbanded in 1981. Despite their relatively short-lived success, the Bay City Rollers remain a nostalgic favorite among fans of 1970s pop music.
