B.B. King, born Riley B. King on September 16, 1925, was a highly influential American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time and a pioneer of the blues genre. King's unique playing style, characterized by his expressive vibrato and precise phrasing, earned him the nickname "The King of the Blues."


Throughout his career, B.B. King released numerous albums and singles, including hits like "The Thrill is Gone" and "Every Day I Have the Blues." He was also known for his powerful, soulful voice and charismatic stage presence. King received many accolades during his lifetime, including multiple Grammy Awards and inductions into the Blues Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He passed away on May 14, 2015, leaving behind a lasting legacy as a true icon of the blues genre.
