Known for his soulful voice and distinctive guitar playing style, B.B. King was also recognized for his expressive and emotive performances. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and received numerous awards, including multiple Grammy Awards. King was also known for his beloved guitar, "Lucille," which he named after a woman who was at the center of a fight that led to a fire at a dance he was playing at early in his career. B.B. King passed away on May 14, 2015, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of blues music.
