Beastie Boys gained fame in the 1980s with their debut album "Licensed to Ill," which became the first rap album to top the Billboard 200 chart.
Throughout their career, Beastie Boys released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Paul's Boutique," "Check Your Head," and "Ill Communication." They were also known for their socially conscious lyrics and innovative music videos. Beastie Boys won multiple Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
