Bent Fabric, born Bent Fabricius-Bjerre on December 7, 1924, in Denmark, was a highly accomplished pianist and composer. He began his musical career playing jazz in Copenhagen before transitioning to writing music for films and television. Fabric is best known for his composition "Alley Cat," which brought him international fame. Over the course of his career, Fabric released numerous albums and continued to perform and compose music until his passing in July 2020.
