Artist Bio:
Berlin is a new wave band that formed in Los Angeles in 1978. The band was originally comprised of Terri Nunn on vocals, John Crawford on bass, David Diamond on keyboards, Ric Olsen on guitar, Matt Reid on keyboards, and Rod Learned on drums. Berlin gained popularity in the early 1980s with their breakthrough single "The Metro" and their hit song "Take My Breath Away" from the Top Gun soundtrack, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1987.

Throughout their career, Berlin released several albums, including "Pleasure Victim" (1982), "Love Life" (1984), and "Count Three & Pray" (1986). Despite multiple lineup changes over the years, Terri Nunn has remained a constant member of the band, leading them to continue performing and releasing music. Berlin's music is characterized by its synthpop sound, catchy melodies, and Nunn's powerful vocals, making them a prominent act in the new wave and synthpop genres.
