Berlin is the stage name of Terri Nunn, an American singer and actress best known for her work in the new wave band Berlin. The band formed in Los Angeles in 1978 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with their hits "The Metro" and "Take My Breath Away," which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1987. Berlin's music is characterized by its synth-driven sound and Nunn's distinctive vocals.

In addition to her music career, Nunn has also pursued acting, appearing in films such as "Thank God It's Friday" and "The Sisterhood." She left Berlin in the mid-1980s to focus on her acting career but later reunited with the band in the early 2000s. Berlin continues to tour and release new music, with Nunn as the lead singer and only original member of the band.
