Kaempfert and His Orchestra achieved international success with hits such as "Wonderland by Night" and "Strangers in the Night," the latter famously recorded by Frank Sinatra. Kaempfert's music has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, and he is credited with influencing the easy listening genre. He continued to produce music and collaborate with various artists until his passing in 1980.
