In addition to her success as a solo artist, Betty Johnson also performed as a member of the vocal group The Johnson Family Singers. The group was known for their tight harmonies and appeared on various television shows, including The Ed Sullivan Show. Betty Johnson continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s before retiring from the music industry. She passed away on March 17, 2021, in Chesterfield, Missouri, at the age of 92.
