Big Punisher, also known as Big Pun, was an American rapper and songwriter who rose to fame in the late 1990s. Born Christopher Lee Rios on November 10, 1971, in the Bronx, New York City, Big Pun is considered one of the greatest Latino rappers in hip-hop history. He was the first Latino rapper to achieve platinum sales with his debut album, "Capital Punishment," which was released in 1998 and featured the hit single "Still Not a Player" featuring Joe. Big Pun passed away on February 7, 2000, due to a heart attack at the age of 28.
Donell Jones is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and producer known for his smooth vocals and soulful sound. He gained recognition in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits like "U Know What's Up" and "Where I Wanna Be." In 1998, Big Punisher collaborated with Donell Jones on the track "It's So Hard," which was featured on Big Pun's debut album, "Capital Punishment." The song was well-received and showcased the musical chemistry between the two artists.
