Artist Bio:
Big Tymers was an American rap duo formed in 1997, consisting of Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams and producer Mannie Fresh. The duo released five studio albums between 1998 and 2005, with their most successful album being "I Got That Work" which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. Known for their flashy style and extravagant lifestyle, Big Tymers were associated with the Southern hip-hop scene and were influential in popularizing the "bling bling" era of rap music in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Big Tymers achieved commercial success with hit singles such as "Still Fly" and "Get Your Roll On," which showcased Mannie Fresh's production skills and Birdman's charismatic rapping. The duo's music often featured themes of wealth, luxury, and partying, resonating with fans of Southern hip-hop. Despite disbanding in 2005, both Birdman and Mannie Fresh continued their successful music careers individually, with Birdman focusing on his record label Cash Money Records and Mannie Fresh continuing to produce for various hip-hop artists.
