Bill Deal & The Rhondels was a musical group formed in Virginia Beach, Virginia in the 1960s. The band was known for their unique blend of blue-eyed soul, beach music, and rock and roll. Bill Deal served as the leader and keyboardist of the group, while the Rhondels provided backing vocals and instrumentation.

The band achieved commercial success with their hit single "May I" in 1969, which reached #39 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They continued to release albums and singles throughout the 1970s, but were unable to replicate the success of their initial hit. Despite this, Bill Deal & The Rhondels remained popular in the Virginia Beach area and continued to perform live shows until Bill Deal's passing in 2003.
