Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas was a British pop music group active in the 1960s. The group was fronted by singer Billy J. Kramer, born William Howard Ashton in Bootle, Lancashire, England. They were managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed The Beatles, and were signed to Parlophone Records.
The group's biggest hits included "Do You Want to Know a Secret", "Bad to Me", and "Little Children", all of which were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles. Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas were known for their clean-cut image and catchy pop tunes, which helped them achieve success in the British Invasion era. Despite disbanding in the late 1960s, the group's music continues to be celebrated by fans of 1960s pop music.
