Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas was a British pop music group active in the 1960s. The group was fronted by singer Billy J. Kramer, whose real name is William Howard Ashton. They had several hits in the UK and the US, including "Do You Want to Know a Secret" and "Little Children." The group was managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed The Beatles, and they were signed to the Parlophone record label.


The Dakotas were an instrumental group that provided backing for Billy J. Kramer. The group was originally called The Seniors before changing their name to The Dakotas. They were known for their clean-cut image and catchy pop tunes. Despite their success in the 1960s, Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas disbanded in the late 1960s, with Billy J. Kramer pursuing a solo career.
