Billy J. Kramer, born William Howard Ashton in 1943, is an English pop singer. He rose to fame in the early 1960s as the frontman of the band Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas. The band was managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed The Beatles. Kramer and The Dakotas had several hits in the UK and the US, with "Little Children" being one of their most successful songs. Despite their brief success, the band disbanded in the late 1960s. Kramer continued to perform as a solo artist and occasionally reunited with The Dakotas for special performances.
