Artist Bio:
Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas was a British pop music group during the 1960s. The group was fronted by singer Billy J. Kramer and backed by the band The Dakotas. They were managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed The Beatles. The group found success with a string of hits in the UK charts, including "Do You Want to Know a Secret" and "Bad to Me," both written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles. Their biggest hit was "Little Children," which reached number one in the UK in 1964.

Despite their success in the UK, Billy J. Kramer With The Dakotas did not achieve the same level of popularity in the United States. They toured with The Beatles during their first US tour in 1964 but failed to make a significant impact in the American music market. The group disbanded in the late 1960s, with Billy J. Kramer pursuing a solo career.
