Billy Satellite was a rock band formed in 1983 in California, USA. The original lineup consisted of Monty Byrom (vocals, guitar), Ira Walker (bass), Danny Chauncey (guitar), and Tom Falletti (drums). The band released their self-titled debut album in 1984, which featured their most well-known song "Satisfy Me." The album received positive reviews and gained moderate success, particularly with the single "I Wanna Go Back" which reached number 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Despite their initial success, Billy Satellite disbanded in the late 1980s. Monty Byrom went on to pursue a solo career and continued to work in the music industry as a songwriter and producer. The band's music has enjoyed a cult following over the years, and their songs have been featured in various films and TV shows.
