Artist Bio:
B.J. Thomas was an American singer best known for his hit songs in the 1960s and 1970s. He was born on August 7, 1942, in Hugo, Oklahoma, and raised in Houston, Texas. Thomas rose to fame with his rendition of the song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1970 after being featured in the film "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."


Throughout his career, B.J. Thomas released numerous albums and singles, with many of his songs reaching the top of the charts. Some of his other notable hits include "Hooked on a Feeling," "I Just Can't Help Believing," and "Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song." Thomas was known for his smooth voice and versatile singing style, which ranged from pop to country music. He continued to perform and record music until his passing on May 29, 2021, leaving behind a legacy of beloved songs and memorable performances.
