Black Moon is an American hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York, consisting of members Buckshot, 5ft, and DJ Evil Dee. They are considered pioneers of the underground hip hop scene in the 1990s. The group released their debut album, "Enta da Stage," in 1993, which is highly regarded as a classic in the genre. The album featured production from DJ Evil Dee and showcased the group's lyrical skills and gritty East Coast sound.


Black Moon is also known for being part of the hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik, which includes other artists like Smif-N-Wessun, Heltah Skeltah, and O.G.C. The group went on to release several more albums, such as "War Zone" in 1999 and "Total Eclipse" in 2003. Black Moon's influence can be seen in the modern underground hip hop scene, as they paved the way for artists to embrace a raw, authentic sound and lyrical content.
