Blackfoot is a Southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1970. The band's original lineup consisted of Rickey Medlocke, Jakson Spires, Greg T. Walker, and Charlie Hargrett. They are known for their hard-hitting rock sound that incorporates elements of blues and country music. Blackfoot gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s with hits such as "Train, Train" and "Highway Song."


The band went through several lineup changes over the years, with Rickey Medlocke being the only consistent member.
