Blake Shelton is an American country music singer and television personality born on June 18, 1976, in Ada, Oklahoma. He made his debut in 2001 with his self-titled album, which produced the hit single "Austin," reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Shelton has since released numerous successful albums, including "The Dreamer," "Pure BS," "Red River Blue," and "Based on a True Story."


Shelton is well known for being a coach on the reality TV singing competition show, "The Voice," since its inception in 2011.
