Blessid Union of Souls is an American alternative rock band formed in 1990 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The band's original lineup consisted of members Eliot Sloan (vocals), Jeff Pence (guitar), C.P. Roth (keyboards), Tony Clark (guitar), and Eddie Hedges (drums). They are best known for their hit songs "I Believe" and "Hey Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)" which both achieved commercial success in the late 1990s.

Blessid Union of Souls released their debut album, "Home," in 1995, which included the popular single "I Believe." The song reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band continued to release music throughout the 2000s and 2010s, with a total of seven studio albums to their name. Despite some lineup changes over the years, Eliot Sloan has remained the consistent frontman of the band.
