Artist Bio:
Blind Melon was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1990. The band's original lineup consisted of Shannon Hoon (vocals), Rogers Stevens (guitar), Christopher Thorn (guitar), Brad Smith (bass), and Glen Graham (drums). Blind Melon gained popularity with their hit single "No Rain" from their self-titled debut album, released in 1992. The song's quirky music video featuring a girl dressed in a bee costume became iconic and helped propel the band to mainstream success.
Tragically, lead vocalist Shannon Hoon passed away from a drug overdose in 1995, which led to the band's breakup shortly after. Blind Melon reunited in 2006 with a new lead singer, Travis Warren, and released their fourth studio album in 2008. The band continues to perform and tour, honoring the legacy of their late frontman Shannon Hoon.
