The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Justin Furstenfeld, lead guitarist Ryan Delahoussaye, bassist Matt Noveskey, and drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld. Blue October gained popularity with their third studio album, "History for Sale," released in 2003, which included the hit single "Calling You."

The band is known for their emotionally charged lyrics and intense live performances, tackling themes such as mental health, addiction, and relationships. Blue October has released several successful albums, including "Foiled" in 2006, which featured the hit single "Hate Me," and "Any Man in America" in 2011.
