Artist Bio:
The Blues Brothers is a fictional rhythm and blues band that was created by comedians John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. The band made its first appearance on the television show "Saturday Night Live" in 1978, and later became the subject of a successful musical comedy film in 1980. The characters, "Joliet" Jake Blues (Belushi) and Elwood Blues (Aykroyd), were inspired by the blues and soul music they loved, and they performed covers of classic songs by artists such as James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles. The Blues Brothers gained a large following for their energetic live performances and catchy music, and their iconic black suits, hats, and sunglasses became their trademark look.

The Blues Brothers released several albums, including the popular "Briefcase Full of Blues" in 1978, which featured live recordings of their performances. The success of the band led to a cultural phenomenon that included merchandise, a touring band, and even a sequel film in 1998. Despite the tragic death of John Belushi in 1982, the legacy of the Blues Brothers continues to live on through their music and iconic performances.
