The Blues Magoos were an American rock band formed in the Bronx, New York in 1964. They were known for their psychedelic rock sound and were one of the early bands to incorporate elements of psychedelic music into their songs. The band's most successful period was in the late 1960s when they released their hit song "We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet" in 1966, which reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Blues Magoos released several albums during their career, including "Psychedelic Lollipop" in 1966 and "Electric Comic Book" in 1967. They were considered one of the pioneering bands of the psychedelic rock genre and were known for their energetic live performances. The band's popularity waned in the early 1970s, and they eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived success, the Blues Magoos are still remembered as an influential band in the history of psychedelic rock music.
