Artist Bio:
Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods were an American pop music group formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in the early 1970s. The band consisted of lead singer Bo Donaldson, along with members Billy Hadley, Rick Joswick, Gary Coveyou, and David Krock. They are best known for their hit single "Billy, Don't Be a Hero" released in 1974, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also earned the band a gold record.

Following the success of "Billy, Don't Be a Hero," Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods released several more singles, including "Who Do You Think You Are" and "The Heartbreak Kid." They continued to tour and perform throughout the 1970s, but were unable to replicate the success of their initial hit. Despite their relatively short-lived time in the music industry, Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods left a lasting impact with their catchy pop tunes.
