Soxx), along with backing singers Darlene Love and Fanita James (The Blue Jeans). They were known for their harmonious sound and their hits, such as "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" and "Why Do Lovers Break Each Other's Hearts?" The group's recordings were produced by Spector and often featured his signature "Wall of Sound" production technique.

One of their most notable songs, "The Bells of St. Mary's," peaked at number 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Bob B. Soxx And The Blue Jeans left a lasting impact on the music industry, with their catchy tunes and unique vocal arrangements.
