Bob B. Soxx And The Blue Jeans were an American vocal group formed in the early 1960s. The group's members included lead singer Bobby Sheen (Bob B. Soxx), along with Darlene Love and Fanita James. They were signed to Phil Spector's Philles Records label and were known for their soulful and doo-wop inspired sound.
One of their most famous songs is "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah," which was a hit single released in 1962. The group also achieved success with other songs like "Why Do Lovers Break Each Other's Heart?" and "Not Too Young to Get Married." Bob B. Soxx And The Blue Jeans were known for their energetic performances and intricate vocal harmonies, and they were an important part of the Phil Spector "Wall of Sound" production style that was popular at the time.
