Artist Bio:
Bobbi Martin was an American country and pop music singer-songwriter born on November 29, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York. She was best known for her 1969 hit single "For the Love of Him," which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Martin released several albums and singles, including "Don't Forget I Still Love You" and "I Love You So."

In addition to her solo career, Bobbi Martin also wrote songs for other artists, such as the hit song "Harper Valley PTA" by Jeannie C. Riley. Martin continued to perform and record music into the 1980s, although she did not achieve the same level of commercial success as she did in the late 1960s. Bobbi Martin passed away on May 2, 2000, at the age of 56.
