Artist Bio:
Bobby Curtola was a Canadian singer and teen idol who rose to fame in the early 1960s. He was born on April 17, 1943, in Port Arthur, Ontario (now Thunder Bay). Curtola started his music career at a young age, recording his first single, "Hand in Hand with You," at the age of 16. He went on to release several hits, including "Fortuneteller" and "Aladdin." Curtola's popularity extended beyond Canada, and he achieved success in the United States as well.


In addition to his music career, Bobby Curtola was also known for his philanthropic efforts. He was involved in various charities, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. Curtola was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1997 in recognition of his contributions to the music industry. He passed away on June 4, 2016, at the age of 73.
