Bobby Darin was an American singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the late 1950s and 1960s. He was born Walden Robert Cassotto on May 14, 1936, in The Bronx, New York. Darin's music encompassed a variety of genres, including rock and roll, pop, jazz, and folk. He is best known for hits such as "Mack the Knife," "Beyond the Sea," and "Dream Lover."


Darin was also a successful actor, appearing in films such as "Come September" and "Pressure Point." He received multiple Grammy nominations and won two Grammy Awards during his career. Darin's life was tragically cut short when he passed away on December 20, 1973, at the age of 37, due to complications from heart surgery. Despite his untimely death, Bobby Darin's legacy as a talented musician and entertainer continues to endure.
