Bobby Darin was an American singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was born Walden Robert Cassotto on May 14, 1936, in the Bronx, New York City. Darin was known for his versatile musical style, which ranged from rock and roll to pop, jazz, and folk. He achieved commercial success with hits like "Mack the Knife," "Beyond the Sea," and "Dream Lover."


In addition to his music career, Darin also pursued acting and appeared in several films, including "Come September" and "Pressure Point." He was nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in the film "Captain Newman, M.D." Darin's career was tragically cut short when he passed away on December 20, 1973, at the age of 37, due to complications from heart surgery. Despite his premature death, Bobby Darin left a lasting impact on the music industry and is remembered as a talented and influential artist.
