Bobby Darin was an American singer, songwriter, and actor who was born on May 14, 1936, in New York City. He rose to fame in the late 1950s and 1960s with hits such as "Splish Splash," "Dream Lover," and "Mack the Knife." Darin was known for his versatile musical style, incorporating elements of rock and roll, pop, jazz, and folk into his music.


In addition to his successful music career, Darin also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "Come September" and "State Fair." He was nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in the film "Captain Newman, M.D." Darin's career was tragically cut short when he passed away at the young age of 37 on December 20, 1973, due to complications from heart surgery. Despite his untimely death, Bobby Darin's legacy as a talented musician and entertainer continues to live on through his timeless music.
